Morocco: reasons to refuse COVID-19 vaccine 2021

As of February 2021, among respondents in Morocco who indicated that they would not get a coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine if available, 28 percent reasoned that they were not at risk of getting the virus. Moreover, while 22 percent of respondents explained that they did not trust vaccines or health authorities, 15 percent expressed concerns about the side effects of the vaccine. Furthermore, it was reported that 91 percent of the surveyed population in Morocco plan to get a vaccine when it would be available to them.
