Take-up of retail property in Germany 2019-2023, per quarter

The quarterly transaction activity in the retail real estate market in Germany fluctuated from 88,000 square meters to 123,000 square meters between 2020 and 2023. In the fourth quarter of 2023, the volume of retail take-up amounted to 113.3 square meters, which was an increase from the same quarter in 2022.
