Areca nut imports to India 2014-2021
In 2021, India imported over 19 thousand metric tons of areca nuts. In 2016, the quantity of areca nuts imported dropped significantly. Compared to the domestic production of areca nuts, which amounts to well over 1563 thousand metric tons, the import quantity of areca nuts was comparatively low.
