Recent challenges that import businesses have experienced in UK October 2021
Over ten months after the United Kingdom left the European single market, 41.6 percent of businesses who imported in the UK had not experienced any recent challenges with importing, with almost 42.4 percent reporting that they have had to deal with additional paperwork. Other common problems include, changes in transportation costs, custom duties and levies, while 10.8 percent had to deal with disruption at UK borders.
