Global projected mine production of lithium 2021-2030
The mine production of lithium is estimated to amount to around 436,000 metric tons worldwide in 2021. By 2030, this figure is projected to reach almost 1.5 million metric tons globally. While Australia and Chile are set to remain as the main producers of this metal, by 2030 it is expected that other countries will also play a major role in the production of this commodity.
