In March 2020, the financial condition was the main reason not to buy a car in Brazil, according to a study. At the time, nearly four out of ten respondents indicated this as the main reason they did not plan to purchase a vehicle in the next three years. Meanwhile, around six percent of respondents were not planning to buy a car because they believed taxis or Uber to be more economical.
