According to a survey among 747 Chinese, breakfast is the most often missed meal of the day, with almost 63 percent of respondents saying they often skip breakfast due to their busy schedules. This reflected a contradiction between perception and practice in China, in which breakfast is the most skipped meal of the day, despite the widespread belief that breakfast is the most important mealtime.
