A survey among 747 consumers in China revealed that traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) somewhat impacts Chinese perceptions of hot food and cold food. Whereas traditional Chinese medicine endorses diets including hot food, a minority of around 12 percent of respondents disagree with this practice. Meanwhile, almost three times as many show their preference for hot food in terms of health benefits.
