External debt stock in Ghana 2020, by creditor type
As of 2020, publicly guaranteed private bondholders held the largest share of Ghana's total external debt, reaching a value of nine billion U.S. dollars. Additionally, multilateral sources credited the government with approximately 6.1 billion U.S. dollars. Overall, in the same year, the total external debt in Ghana reached around 31.2 billion U.S. dollars.
