Commercial banks in Angola 2021, by type
Angola had 25 commercial banks as of the first quarter of 2021. Among the institutions authorized to operate in the country, the majority was constituted by private Angolan banks, which amounted to 16. In the same period, there were five subsidiaries of foreign banks and only one foreign bank branch in the country.
