Digital services responses to COVID-19 in Sub-Saharan Africa 2020
As of July 2020, the private sector and governments of the Sub-Saharan African countries implemented a variety of initiatives as a response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Specifically, digital responses were key to improving services within several sectors such as business, health care, and education. Most measures concerned digital payments (33 percent), e-learning (26 percent), and public health information (18 percent).
