Number of BritBox International subscriptions worldwide 2020-2023
As of November 2023, the British-themed subscription video-on-demand service BritBox International recorded 3.4 million subscriptions worldwide, including the U.S., Canada, Australia, South Africa, as well as the Scandinavian countries Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland. This marked an increase of 400,000 subscribers compared with February of the same year. The video streaming offer was first launched in the U.S. in 2017. In 2019, UK consumers got access to the platform, but it splitt off from its worldwide operation in 2022 in order to integrate into the streaming service of ITV.
