Hybrid workers struggling and thriving 2021, by demographic
According to a recent global survey, 61 percent of business leaders, the majority being information workers with established careers, are thriving in their work environment. At the opposite end of the spectrum are singles, 67 percent of whom are struggling. Further, business leaders report stronger relationships with colleagues versus employees with no decision-making authority. People who are new in their careers, women, frontline workers, and Generation Z struggle the most. Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, millions of employees around the world had to adapt to new working conditions, often working from home. These changes impact whether people are struggling or thriving at work.
