In March 2021, the main reason for Indian customers to buy brand names was that trust was there for 30 percent of the customers. More than a quarter also quote that an assumption of higher quality is a major reason for them to purchase name brands. The least important reason quoted with a share of only a little less than 10 percent is the increased availability of name brands.
