Share of consumers using desktops for online purchases in Australia 2017-2020

According to the findings of a survey among over one thousand Australian consumers, around 28 percent of respondents used desktop computers for online shopping in 2020. This represented a decline of around nine percentage points compared to the previous year. Over the four-year period, the percentage of respondents making online purchases or payments with desktops dropped by roughly half from approximately 50 percent in 2017 to approximately 28 percent in 2020.
