The Brazilian version of Endemol's reality TV show Big Brother is known as Big Brother Brasil (or BBB) and is aired by Globo. As of February 2022, during the first weeks of the 22nd season of BBB, about 41.7 percent of TV sets in use in the metropolitan area of São Paulo tuned to Globo. The metropolitan region, also known as Greater São Paulo, comprehends the city of São Paulo along with other 38 surrounding cities. It is the largest advertising market within Brazil.
