The end of the year is generally Foie Gras' time to shine in France. Indeed, the population likes to include it in their holiday meals, and, at the end of 2020, the penetration rate of Foie Gras jumped to 30.3 percent.
Between October 2020 and the very beginning of January 2021, most of Foie Gras purchases were made in supermarkets (52 percent), followed by supermarkets (30.1 percent).
