Latin America: cross-border investment in wind energy 2019, by country
Foreign investments in wind energy in Latin America in 2019 reached about 6.49 billion U.S. dollars. Nearly 45 percent of that amount was destined to Brazil, placing it as the main recipient of investments in Latin America. During that year, Chile was the second largest recipient, accounting for over a third part of the total worth of investments in the region.
