
Main causes of deaths in Egypt 2019
Cardiovascular diseases were the main cause of casualties in Egypt as of 2019. For each 100 thousand deaths, 266.35 were caused by the condition. Digestive diseases followed, with a death rate of 69.87 casualties per 100 thousand. Moreover, neoplasms and cancers were the third main cause of death in the nation, with up to 58.48 people from every 100 thousand dying from it. Non-communicable diseases were among the four most dominant reasons for deaths in the country with diabetes and kidney diseases ranking fourth.
