Number of taxpayers South Korea 2011-2021
In 2021, there were about 22.4 million taxpayers in South Korea, showing an increase compared to the previous year. While the number of global income taxpayers, those who had business income (including real estate rental income) or housing rental income, was the highest that year, the number of total taxpayers in South Korea has been steadily increasing in recent years.
