With a market value of 40 million euros, both Frank Anguissa and Ismaël Bennacer, were the most valuable African Midfielders as of the 2022/2023 football season. They play for the Italian clubs SSC Napoli and AC Milan, respectively. Ibrahim Sangaré, Thomas Partey, and Cheick Doucouré followed, each with a market value of 35 million euros.
