In 2020, approximately half of consumers around the world stated they would primarily shop for appliances and technology products online in the future, as a result of the influence of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. While a large number of people were planning to shop online for such items, not as many shoppers were open to the idea of buying food and drinks online.
