The production value of telephone sets in Taiwan in 2022 amounted to almost 344 million New Taiwan dollars, around 101 million more than in the previous year. Especially the competition from mainland China impacts the phone industry on the island. The Taiwanese government wants to help the local economy through incentives, such as the Action Plan for Welcoming Overseas Taiwanese Businesses to Return to Invest in Taiwan.
