Restaurant choice criteria for ordering delivery meals or takeaways in France in 2021
With the sanitary restrictions imposed since the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020 in France, home delivery has experienced a growth in activity. For meal deliveries and takeout orders, French people were asked under which conditions one would chose a restaurant over another. Thus, for 62 percent the main criteria for choosing a restaurant was the value for money. The freshness of the products and of the meals offered was also an important factor for 54 percent of respondents.
