COVID-19 impact on online shopping frequency in Finland 2020, by age group

Based on the 2020 survey results, online shopping increased the most among young people in Finland during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Over 30 percent of people between 18 and 29 years stated they shopped more often online than before the COVID-19 outbreak. The corresponding share among those aged 30 to 49 years was 29 percent. At the same time, the majority of all respondents said that they shop online as often as before the pandemic.
