Government bond yields curve in France 2023
As of January 11, 2023, all French government debt securities with any maturity date returned positive yields. The lowest yield was found on securities with maturities of one month, which returned 1.9 percent. Conversely, 30 year French government debt recorded a positive yield of 2.93 percent at this time. Positive bond yields mean that investor receive more money at the bond's maturity than the original purchase price of the bond, owing to low demand for the bond on money or capital markets.
