Number of days on market of luxury homes North America 2020-2022, by property type
After a period of strong demand for luxury housing, the market in North America started cooling off in the second half of 2022. In April 2022, single family and attached homes spent as little as eight days on market and by September, the period between a property being listed and sold exceeded 20 days. Though this is an increase from the figures seen in 2021 and the the beginning of 2022, it was still below the initial months of the pandemic.
