Mobile device usage for online luxury shopping in Europe by age group Q3 18 - Q3 21
The usage of mobile devices and tablets for online luxury shopping among European consumers increased following the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. According to the results of survey conducted with affluent consumers from four European countries (France, Germany, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom), in the most recently reported quarter, over 40 percent of those aged between 18-39 used mobile devices for their purchases of luxury brands and services. This share was lower for thosed aged 40 and over (at 34.7 percent) in the same period.
