Per capita meat consumption in China in 2021, by type
In 2021, pork remained the most consumed type of meat in China, accounting for more than half of China’s meat consumption per capita. It was followed by poultry and beef, at 31 percent and 13 percent respectively. Meanwhile, sheepmeat consumption only made up a total of seven percent of meat intake per centum weight.
