Main tax and regulation constraints for firms in Tunisia 2020, by type
As of 2020, firms operating in Tunisia faced several constraints related to taxes and regulations. Tax rates constituted a major constraint for over 39 percent of the businesses. Moreover, around 26 percent of the enterprises in the country identified business licensing and permits as a relevant barrier to business activities. A large 21.5 percent was instead concerned with tax administration.
