According to a survey conducted in Canada in 2020, 59 percent of nurses think that mobile devices are essential to an extent in terms of providing and documenting direct patient care. While in terms of communicating with care team members to facilitate day-to-day and care communication, an overall of 61 percent of nurses think that mobile devices are essential.
