Bank types preferred South Korea 2019, by age
According to a survey conducted in South Korea in 2019, around 37.6 percent of the respondents in their 20s said they preferred digital banks, the highest percentage across all age groups. It was clear to see that the preference for digital banks increased the younger the respondents were. Respondents over the age of 70 overwhelmingly preferred traditional banks, at 87 percent.
