A survey from 2020 conducted in the UK found that shoppers' visiting patterns to homeware and electronic stores had changed, due to the coronavirus pandemic. Among UK shoppers, a majority of baby boomers stated to have visited furniture stores less by 72 percent, while 57 percent of Gen Z and millennials claimed the same. When it came to visiting same compared to previous year, over a third of shares of both cohorts respondended similarly. About eight of Gen Z and Millennials visited homeware retail stores more compared whereas none of the baby boomers reported to have done so.
