Share of population facing food insecurity in Tanzania 2021
As of November 2021, 7.1 percent of Tanzania's population were food insecure. This corresponded to four million people that had insufficient food for consumption. The share has been fluctuating with the peak measured in February 2021, at 10.1 percent.
