Share of online marketplace shoppers in Spain 2023, by household type
According to a 2023 survey, the largest share of customers on online marketplaces were families with children, comprising 47 percent of the respondents. Next were two-person households, accounting for 21 percent, followed by one-person at 12 percent. In contrast, single adults without children made up only five percent of the purchasers.
