As of 2021, the Greater Accra region recorded the highest level of petroleum product consumption in Ghana, nearly 1.4 million metric tons. The Ashanti and Western regions followed, with around 618 thousand and 558 thousand metric tons of consumed petroleum products, respectively. On the other hand, Upper West achieved the lowest level of consumption, at 82.6 million metric tons.
