Dairy and cheese processing enterprises in Europe 2019
As of 2019, Italy was the country with the highest number of cheese and dairy processing enterprises. That year, Italy held over three thousand enterprises in that sector. In comparison, Spain, which was the country with the second highest number of dairy and cheese enterprises, had less than half of what Italy held that year.
