In basketball, a rebound is defined as a player either retrieving the ball after a missed field goal or free throw or tipping in a missed shot on an offensive play. Sylvia Fowles, who retired at the end of the 2022 season, led the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) in terms of all-time rebounds in the regular season, having achieved 4,006 rebounds in a career that started back in 2008.
