Share of mineral receipts in total exports in Ghana 2009-2021
In 2021, Ghana's receipts from minerals represented 35.6 percent of the country's total exports. In the previous year, around 48 percent of the export receipts were from minerals. The country is one of the leading world producers of minerals such as gold and manganese.
