Type of health care encounter experienced in Canada in 2020

As of August 2020, 61 percent of Canadians surveyed said that they had an in-person health care encounter to obtain a prescription from their health care provider, while in comparison 32 percent had obtained a prescription virtually. In general, Canadians still more often interact with health care services in-person in comparison to virtual services.
