Impact of COVID-19 on the supply chain sector Australia 2020-2021

During a survey conducted between December 2020 and February 2021 to gauge the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on hiring activities of supply businesses in Australia, around a quarter of businesses experienced a decrease in revenue. Despite this drop in revenue seven percent hired new staff and only around five percent laid off staff.
