Teacher gender distribution by attainment Russia

More than 99 percent of primary school teachers in Russia were female, according to the data from 2019. The largest share of male educators was recorded in tertiary education. On average across all educational levels, except early education for children under three years old, women accounted for nearly 87 percent of all teachers in the country.
