Footwear production in France 2020, by product category
In 2020, most of the footwear produced in France was for fashion and casual use (51 percent). Just under a third of production was indoor footwear, while 17 percent was work and safety footwear. Sports shoes accounted for only three percent of production. In 2021, the French footwear market is expected to achieve a turnover exceeding nine billion euros.
