According to a survey conducted in November 2020 in Japan, almost one third of respondents became more aware of ethical consumption following the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. While around 30.9 percent stated that their awareness grew due to the pandemic, only 6.5 percent changed their actions accordingly.
