Amount of electrical energy exported from Ghana 2010-2020
In each of the years between 2018 and 2020, 187 million kilowatt hours of electricity were exported from Ghana, a considerate reduction compared to the previous years under study. The largest volume of electrical energy that was exported from the country was reached in 2014 at 1,036 million kilowatt hours. Comparatively, Ghana imported electricity amounting to 511 million kilowatt hours in 2020.
