Economic impact per IDP for one displacement year MENA 2019, by country
Syria had the highest economic cost of internal displacements resulting from conflict in 2019 among the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region at approximately 869 U.S. dollars per internally displaced person. The total displacements of the region in that period was 30.1 million, about 1.5 million were due disasters while 28.6 million were due to conflict.
