India: COVID-19 impact on food basket share in Kirana stores by type 2020

In the month of April 2020, when India was in lockdown to curb COVID-19 infections, there was a dip in the basket share of food and beverages in Kirana stores across major cities. This was in comparison to February 2020. Among types of food and beverages sold, salt saw low indices between March and April that year, while flour saw a spike towards the end of April.
