India: COVID-19 impact on food quantity in Kirana stores by type 2020

In the month of April 2020, when India was in lockdown to curb COVID-19 infections, there was dip in the quantity of food and beverages in Kirana stores across major cities. This was in comparison to February 2020. Among types of food and beverages sold, cooking oil recorded a low index in the first week of April that year, while coffee had high indices during the period of the lockdown indicating high quantities.
