CAR of banks South Korea 2018-2022
As of December 2022, the capital adequacy ratio of banks in South Korea stood at 15.25 percent, down from around 15.53 percent in the previous year. South Korean banks were thus above the minimum capital adequacy ratio (including the capital conservation buffer) of 10.5 percent required by Basel III.
