Of the five largest publicly owned produces of silver, U.S. mining giant Newmont saw the largest growth in its share price over recent years. Between January 2018 and May 2021, the share price of the Denver-based company saw its share price almost double. Conversely, two of the top five companies - Fresnillo and Glencore - saw their share price decline over this period.
